Jinxiang County is located at the junction of four provinces: Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan, and Anhui. It is renowned as the "Hometown of Chinese Garlic," "Hometown of Round Onions," and "Hometown of Vegetables." It is often praised with the saying "World sees China through garlic, China sees Jinxiang through garlic." Jinxiang contributes over 70% of the national garlic exports and serves as the central hub for garlic cultivation, storage, trade, and price formation in China. It is a major supplier to the domestic market.

The KaiSheng Group currently owns the largest cold storage cluster in Asia, serving as a national-level agricultural product trading and distribution platform and one of the most comprehensive agricultural distribution centers. In recent years, the group has driven employment and increased farmers' income by engaging in local garlic and chili pepper contract farming, establishing over 3,000 acres of planting bases in Hainan, establishing skill training schools, and launching an e-commerce entrepreneurship base, benefiting over ten thousand people.

The KaiSheng Agricultural Logistics City began construction in Jinxiang in 2012 and started operations in 2013. As the chairing unit of the Jinxiang Garlic Association, KaiSheng Group has become a leading enterprise in the storage and sale of garlic, round onions, and chili peppers. It annually sells more than 3 million tons of various agricultural products, including garlic, garlic slices, chili peppers, ginger, potatoes, bananas, apples, with a total transaction value exceeding 23 billion yuan. The industrial park has attracted over 4,000 merchants, providing employment for more than 15,000 people.

The ShengYe Cold Chain Logistics Base, with an investment of 510 million yuan, was established in 2017 on a 300-acre site, covering an area of 55,000 square meters. It consists of standardized refrigerated storage with 121 chambers, having a total refrigeration capacity of over 200,000 tons. The base includes sorting, packaging, tallying, and distribution sheds covering nearly 30,000 square meters, housing refrigerated storage, processing and distribution areas, e-commerce zone, and comprehensive service zone.

The Inland Port Cold Storage of Jining Customs, the first national customs trade facilitation service center serving county-level economies, is a joint investment and cooperative operation between Jinxiang County People's Government and KaiSheng Group's Jining KaiSheng Supply and Marketing Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 520 million yuan, it covers an area of 260 acres, boasting a total construction area of 60,000 square meters, and a refrigeration capacity of over 100,000 tons, capable of simultaneously fumigating four standard containers, with a daily fumigation capacity of over 100 tons. It provides comprehensive services such as customs declaration and inspection, business training, trade logistics, low-temperature warehousing, inspection and quarantine, and agricultural product fumigation for export.

KaiSheng Group has completed a comprehensive network, intelligent settlement, digital park, auction trading, and big data platform. The KaiSheng Digital Agricultural Exhibition and Trading Center, covering 20,000 square meters, features an auction hall with a daily auction volume of over 10,000 tons and a transaction amount exceeding 30 million yuan. The group has 43 regional agents nationwide, with over 60 agricultural trading companies, reaching more than 160 countries worldwide. Through barter trade and digital platforms, it has established a new pattern of agricultural circulation, with a "buy global, sell worldwide" strategy.

Ranked fifth among China's top 20 agricultural enterprises, KaiSheng Group has received over 40 titles, including being recognized as one of China's top 100 cold chain logistics companies, one of the top 100 agricultural wholesale markets in the country, and one of the national top ten coordinate markets.
